This is one of the different popular nail polish trends where one can go crazy with the available color options. Apply the mirror nail coat after adding the base coat and topcoat. You could take holographic shades using a soft brush and apply them in thick portions on to your nails – either the whole portion or a small part of it. While the metallic shades by themselves are great, the holographic upgrade is going to hit the market like crazy pretty soon. However, one needs to be very precise with the amount of iridescent powder that one should apply. Remember that holographic shades give a rainbow finish while chrome is flat and metallic – therefore you need to match them both well. They make for a great summer shade as they look the best in sunlight.

Floral art designs
The market is forever innovating the nail wrap designs. These nail wraps are stickers that you can conveniently stick on your nails after applying a base coat. The recent trend with them is floral art which features summer colors and the forever favorite galaxy designs.

Two-toned beauty
Apply a coat of your favorite solid color and paint the tip with another color using the shape you like. The pairing of both could either be complementing or contrasting. A combination of metallic and solid colors would be great for evenings.

Framed designs
Imagine a picture frame and replicate the same on your nails. Paint corners with metallic shade – gold shimmer or silver shimmer. Apply a layer of topcoat. Now take glitters that are light in shade – pink or mauve or taupe. Apply in the center portion of the frame.
